GCSE ENGLISH LANGUAGE
At Master Sunny's Tuition we specialise in both Higher Tier and Foundation Tier GCSE English Language covering the main exam boards: AQA and WJEC.
We offer GCSE English Language classes which is a linear course and students are assessed at the end of the course, typically during the summer of Year 11.
GCSE English at Master Sunny's Tuition is designed to give pupils the opportunity to clarify, practise and revise all of the skills necessary to obtain top 9 – 5 passes.Whilst each examination board will set different texts for study, the typical tasks remain consistent throughout. Therefore, we tailor lesson plans and resources to every individual student’s specifications, enabling them to practise the tasks of analysing, comparing, speaking and listening, and writing for a variety of purposes and audiences, using excerpts from the poetry, prose and drama texts. Students practise personal writing, essay planning and written accuracy at regular intervals.
Students are continuously assessed through regular progress tests to identify where they need improvement and coupled with their previous English knowledge they are taught on reading and writing skills to retain lifelong learning of English as well as getting through their exams.
We emphasise on teaching language techniques as well as exam techniques to students as this is a key skill needed for the new 9-1 examination. We offer weekly tuition sessions to support their progress through the curriculum to ensure all students aim to achieve the top grade 9.
We understand the cost of tuition can be challenging for many, therefore we offer the "PAY AS YOU GO" system which ensures you only pay for the sessions you attend, as we are confident with our methods and teaching style to our students.
Over 1000s of books and classwork material available to use during the lesson. All equipment, notes, homework sheets and books included in the hourly price.
Home work All students are required to complete given homework for each week. We will mark homework weekly providing detailed feedback to the student in the areas they are struggling.
