At Master Sunny's Tuition we specialise in both Higher Tier and Foundation Tier GCSE and IGCSE Mathematics covering the main exam boards: EDEXCEL, AQA, OCR and WJEC.
We emphasise on teaching methods to students which improve problem solving and mathematical reasoning. This is a key skill needed for the new 9-1 examination.
We offer weekly tuition sessions to support their progress through the curriculum to ensure all students achieve the highest possible grade possible.
Each session covers syllabus topics followed by practise and step by step worked examples of exam style questions to reinforce learning in preparation for the final summer year 11 GCSE exams. Students are continuously assessed through regular progress tests to identify where they need improvement and are provided with practise exam packs to improve areas of weaknesses.
We understand the cost of tuition can be challenging for many, therefore we offer the "PAY AS YOU GO" system which ensures you only pay for the sessions you attend, as we are
confident with our methods and teaching style to our students.
We seek to encourage a love of mathematics by our students. It is important that they understand the concepts. Our teachers style of delivery has proved very successful. Teachers are conversant with the specifications of the awarding bodies as all are subject specialist, and/or examiners.
Our teachers are fully trained in the new specifications and will work with their students to develop their skills in all topics. With the content the same for all awarding bodies we provide a comprehensive course and ensure that students are conversant with these concepts:
Ratio, proportion and rates of change
Geometry and measures
Over 1000s of books and classwork material available to use during the lesson. All equipment, notes, homework sheets and books included in the hourly price.
All students are required to complete given homework for each week. We will mark homework weekly providing detailed feedback to the student in the areas they are struggling .
Parents will have an opportunity to meet us at the end of the sessions for feedback and to discuss any concerns related to the learning process.
Progress tests There will be a progress test at the end of each school term (every 6 weeks). After the progress test, a progress reports will also be provided, by highlighting your child’s strengths and weaknesses, including targets for next term.
